Your Achensee DahoamCard benefits

Surrounded by beautiful nature, the Achensee region is ranked among the best places for a work-life balance. An important element is the DohoamCard, which is your free identity card as a resident and/or employee of the Achensee region. It is required to register with Job-Life Achensee and allows you to take advantage of discounts on leisure activities.

All employees and residents who work and live in the Achensee region (people with main and secondary residence, landowners, property owners, and people with a workplace in one of the Achensee municipalities).

You can get the DahoamCard free of charge from the municipality of your employer or your municipality of residence, whereby the workplace is prioritised.

If you do not live in one of the four Achensee municipalities (Eben am Achensee, Achenkirch, Wiesing, and Steinberg) but work here, please bring an employment confirmation from your Achensee employer in addition to a valid photo ID. In this case, the DahoamCard is valid for one year and can be extended with a current employment confirmation.

The Achensee parking card is available for a fairly inexpensive one-time fee and allows you free parking in all pay parking lots. Just put the parking card in your car windscreen.

VILLAGE TAXI EBEN MOBIL (EMO)

As of 01 February 2024, the village taxi Eben Mobil (EMo) offers residents of the municipality an environmentally friendly transport solution from Monday to Friday from 8.00 to 17.00. An Achensee DahoamCard is required. The fare is 2 euros within Eben and 4 euros in the neighbouring communities. Vouchers worth 20 euros (valid for 11 journeys) are now available at the TVB Achensee Welcome Center.

Eng Bus

The Eng Bus takes you to the Große Ahornboden every Wednesday from 19 June to 9 October 2024 (in good weather until 16 October). Holders of the Achensee DahoamCard get discounted tickets for €13. Tickets must be booked in advance by 12.00 noon the day before.

FAMILY-Eldorado

DahoamCard holders from the municipality of Eben enjoy free access to the children's playground in the FAMILY Eldorado at the Atoll Achensee during the summer months. Entry to the SEE-Bad is not included.

Free boat cruises for children & youngsters

Children and youngsters living in one of the Achensee’s municipalities travel for free on all regular services of the Achensee ships in the summer season 2024 (27 April to 6 October). A valid DahaomCard is required.

Reduced fare for adults

In the summer season 2024 (27 April to 6 October), the Achenseeschiffahrt offers an exclusive benefit: Adults with an Achensee DahoamCard can buy the Achensee hop-on hop-off ticket at a reduced price of only € 26.00 per person.

Free season ticket for children

Children up to 14 years old whose main place of residence is in the municipality of Eben receive a free season ticket for the Planberg and Wiesen lifts in Pertisau. Show your DahoamCard at the lift ticket office.

German courses

The next German courses start at the end of May (A1/A2-B1). The exact dates can be found online at vielfalt.at. A 50% funding from Job-Life Achensee is available under the following conditions: 1. Course attendance 75% 2. Employee of a Triple A employer 3. Registration with Job-Life Achensee and a valid DahoamCard.
