The Achensee Holiday Card

For those of you on a voyage of discovery a whole holiday realm opens up at Achensee, with the Achensee Holiday Card.

With the Achensee Holiday Card holidaymakers are taken to lofty heights from May to October on the Rofan cable car and the Karwendel cable car; they get to cruise on the biggest lake in Tyrol with the three steam boats provided by the shipping company Achenseeschiffahrt; can head out on a nostalgic trip from Jenbach to Maurach on Europe‘s oldest steam cog railway and in Achensee Museumswelt in Maurach; head to Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens, or to the Notburga Museum in Maurach/Eben; go on a journey through time in Sixenhof Museum of Local History in Achenkirch and in the Tyrolean Vitalberg Mineral Oil Discovery Centre they can learn about the history of this ‘black gold’. And they can do all this as often as they like.

A brilliant price for the Achensee Holiday Card:

EUR 57.- for Adults EUR 28.50 for Children (born between 1998 and 2006. No charge for children under the age of six.) Available from the Rofan Cable Car or Karwendel Cable Car cash desks and from the Tourist Information offices in Achenkirch, Maurach and Pertisau.
Please note that there is an additional EUR 6. – charged per journey when sports equipment is taken on the cable car (e.g. paraglider). The Achensee Holiday Card can only be purchased upon production of a valid AchenseeCard.

Validity:

The Achensee Holiday Card is valid for seven days, and its use is unlimited.
The card is available from 4th May to 21st October 2013, and is valid until 27th October 2013.
